Freshman Honor Choir

Freshman Honor Choir

Amber was selected out of her David Crockett High School Choral Group to participate in The All East Freshman Honor Choir in November. What an honor!
She was able to go to a 4 day training with a few others from her class and join other Freshman at Maryville College.  During this training, she was able to learn scores of music and to be led by renowned conductors. This was a once in a lifetime honor for Amber!
We arrived on that Saturday afternoon to see her perform. We were amazed at the ability of these young freshman to accomplish so much skill in such a short time!
They sang several scores including Gilbert Martin’s, “Come All Ye Fair an’ Tender Ladies”, “Praise The Lord ” A Traditional Cameroon Melody arranged by Ralph Johnson , and “Hallelujah, Amen from Judas Maccabaeus”.
We couldn’t be more proud of Our Amber!
