Memorial Day… What memorials do you have in place?
Today is our day that’s set aside to remember those who’ve given their lives up for our freedom. We ( Thomas and I) honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we can freely enjoy a full life… To those who have loved ones who have done such an honorable thing & today have a sadness for missing them; we pray for you that Jesus would be your great comforter & healer of your soul… And we say Thank You!
But today I’ve had on my mind continuously this thought… ” what have you done to create a memorial ( or a remembrance) for the spiritual freedom Jesus has given you? And what memorials ( or remembrances) for your husband, family, friends?”
You know there are several places in The Bible that speak of memorials of remembrances… Referring to what has God done.. Just a thought… Could tithing be a way of showing a remembrance of the fact that Jesus Is our Source of provision?
This weekend as I’ve thought about memorials, I remember that I take a small rock from most places Thomas and I visit together and I remembered the years I prayed for Jesus to give me my sweet Thomas 😉 as well as, my children 🙂 It’s my prayer that my life would be a “living memorial” unto The Lord, today and always.
So on this Memorial Day I’m remembering that Jesus Always Answers our prayers with Good Things!!! It is our prayer for you, all who will read this blog; today or later… That you too will be able to have a memorial for Jesus who Greatly Loves You and for those whom You Greatly Love!
——Grace and Peace be to You 🙂
