Father’s Day 2012

Reflecting on my own daddy who is recovering from back surgery… I was not able to see him because he needed to rest and start to heal.. But we will go visit him very soon! I did get to talk to him on the phone & funny enough he had his phone in hand ready to call me when it rang; it was me calling:)
Also thinking on how great is was to celebrate my sweet husband this Father’s Day! The kids & I decided on gifts, lunch, and fun for daddy!!!! Yay!!! It was our first Father’s Day as a family… I believe My Sweet Thomas was really blessed and touched by all we did, and more by what each of us had to say to him… In fact, he even shed a few tears… Love him!!!!
And also I’ve reflected on a man I admire very much, who was a father figure to me, naturally & spiritually.. Jerry Slagle… I miss him very much & wish My Thomas had gotten to know him… But I know he is with the Greatest Father ever known, God The Father , maker of all Heaven & Earth… He loved being a daddy just as much as he loved doing hair & helping people!!!
So I’m counting my blessings tonight, the countless ones Jesus has blessed me with… And I’m thanking Jesus for allowing me to bless my husband & honor him this Father’s Day.. Happy Father’s Day My Thomas!
